25 weeks!

14 to go!

Baby is the size of an eggplant! &/or this super awesome lunch box:
This week's photos are from Sloan's 1st birthday party! It just amazes me how fast a baby's 1st year goes, and how much they develop into little people in this time. We had our nephew's 1st birthday party just a few short weeks ago & to see these little babies walking, babbling and just exploring their environment is so cute to watch!

Sloan just finished with her cake eating and she enjoyed her 1 year old birthday cake :)

How far along? 25 Weeks 4 days
Total weight gain: 22lbs
Stretch marks? Nope..but the line is creeping up above my belly button now
Sleep: Pretty good these days!
Best moment this week: Probably yesterday. I just felt so awesome and it's always nice to be with family on the weekends!

Miss Anything? Nothing that really sticks out for this week
Movement: She makes my belly dance all the time. Sometimes I'll put my hand on my belly & feel her move from the outside, but have no idea from the inside. I guess I'm just use to her little movements now. My favorite is feeling her in the AM when I wake up :).
Food cravings: I didn't have any real cravings this week either. Although, that Cami Cake yesterday was pretty amazing!
Labor Signs: No, I haven't felt any BH this week that I've noticed either.

Symptoms: I still have heartburn, but it has lightened up a bit (thankfully!). Still uncomfortable in the ribs from time-to-time, and now just under my ribs in the center. I'm not sure what that's all about...
Belly Button in or out? Still in. I have a feeling it will stay in.
Wedding rings on or off? Still just wearing my engagement ring.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy. I go through these waves of feeling such joy with our lives and where we are at! (Which is a bit of a change from last weekend when I was crying b/c the rooms weren't coming together haha...so the waves of emotion are definitely present!)
Looking forward to: I'm hoping FIL & Bronny can fix the guest room today so that we can get Liv's room cleared for painting next weekend! Mom comes on Friday (which is also a 1/2 day for me & my last 4 week check up)!! So I'm pretty excited for all of that :).

Playing catch up, again!

Man, I have not been good at keeping up with this weekly blog lately! So I left off at 22 weeks, I'm on week 24 now, going on 25...

Baby is now the size of an ear of corn (which is always going to make me think of Mayeling from my mom page now!). She is also about a pound and a half. On the bump for dad's article my baby is now the size of a baseball glove.

Kind of funny. I can tell she is longer now when I lay on my side. I can feel where her hands are compared to her feet. I'm always surprised at how long it feels like she is stretched out. Although, I'm pretty long...long fingers long toes, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised if she comes out on the longer side ;).

She's really active at night. It's so cool to just watch my belly jump from the gymnastics class she takes on the inside of my belly. Rebecca was here this last weekend and got to feel Olivia doing her jungle gym moves.

I also started noticing Braxton Hicks contractions. It's a pretty strange feeling. But it is kind of a new & excited thing that I am happy to experience.

I had another little mini breakdown about the two rooms on Sunday...but no fear because Rebecca was there to the rescue ;). After a few lists were made we were off to shop...till we dropped. And I feel SO much better about the rooms now. I have a clear, finished view of what I am going for and what the outcome is going to look like. I just needed a little girl time! Men, they just don't understand decorating...at least not my man! Haha!

With that I will show you Olivia's rug that we picked up on Sunday :)

& here is my 23 week photo:

I haven't taken my 24 week photo yet, I need to do that tonight. I'm feeling an ice cream picture again!

How far along? 24 weeks 5 days
Total weight gain: As of last week...21lbs
Stretch marks? Nope... Brown line below my belly button, yes. Very thin & light though.
Sleep: Sleep is going pretty well
Best moment this week: Probably this whole weekend. It was really nice having family in town. I remember looking around at the dinner talbe on Saturday night and just felt completely calm & happy. Love those Saks!

Miss Anything? Just my old body. I hate felling so restricted. I'm hoping picking up the workouts again will help in this department. I just feel so immobile already...not good!
Movement: Multiple times a day!
Food cravings: Sweets & Tijuana Flats queso...
Gender: Girl :)
Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: My wonderful rib pain has come back to haunt me this week. I also have heartburn everyday...multiple times a day. It's the best ;).
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? Wedding band: off Engagement ring: on together they are double trouble!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy all the time. I've been easily agitated lately, but I think that's a part of getting bigger...
Looking forward to: Our 1st birthing class on Thursday night!!!

That about does it for this post. Thanks for joining me this week. I will leave you with this:
I had a dream about Olivia the other week. She was tiny, cute and had lots of dark brown hair. Sometimes I try to picture what our lives are going to be like when she is here. How we will change, having an added person in our family and I get overwhelmed with joy. And then fear comes, lol. But mostly I feel very excited for the future!! :)

22 weeks!

I do realize that I have skipped a week :) These last two weeks have been a little rough, prego-wise. But I am taking the time tonight to do an update so I don't get too far behind.

So, this week we are going between a baseball glove (so weird) or a papaya. She is one whole pound now!! And my, oh my, I can tell, as I am also getting bigger. Here are some pictures to prove it...

Bron decided he should be in the picture this week - 21 weeks

4 weeks, 10 weeks & 21 weeks

This was a few days ago when I felt huge...

& 22 weeks

How far along? 22 weeks 4 days
Total weight gain: I suppose I'm up to 19lbs now...going to make it a veggie week ;)
Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Pretty good
Best moment(s) this week: There were a lot of good moments since the last time time I filled this out!

Miss Anything? Not too much this week. I just officially feel pregnant. All over, head to toe.
Movement: Same as last week. Bron felt her move again though. She kicked him 3 times last week! This week she is doing more sudden movements, or what feels like full body movements. She really likes it when I play her music. She must get that from her daddy :).
Food cravings: Sweets as always
Gender prediction: It's official...we have a GIRL!!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? In...getting very shallow...
Wedding rings on or off? On for now. Getting tighter and tighter...will probably have to just wear one next week.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy :)
Looking forward to: Getting started on changing our two spare rooms around.

Anatomy scan update!
OK, so many of you know that we had her anatomy scan last Friday. She is still a she, and she's a healthy she!
Bron and I took the afternoon off so we could enjoy knowing for sure the gender, have a nice lunch & what else but SHOP! We did indeed have a nice lunch and then we went to Buy Buy Baby and started our registry. I'm pretty excited about it & our choices. We had a lot of FUN doing it too!

We have also decided on baby's 1st name...if you missed it this was the post from Facebook:
It's official! Her name is Olivia <3

So we have a name...Olivia Butrimas...Her middle name is still in the making!

Nursery update!
With the news of confirmation, comes doubt & uncertainty of the nursery "theme". I think I still like the crib that I posted a few weeks ago. We did like the lavender color for the walls, but I think I'm thinking more neutral now...grey. I really like these two styles:

I really like the butterfly mobile in this one...

(same site, I just can't find the link to this particular post)

I'm not really sure what style type these are considered...I guess just clean, modern & fresh?
But I am still going with the color pallet of light lavender, pink, lime green and maybe some bright blue!

Oh & I just love this bookcase...

Olivia's room will be stacked with books!! I love them!!

Bron and I were in Lake Mary yesterday & I wanted to share these pictures from yesterday. I'm very blessed to have such great, long-time friends who mean the world to me!
